ineltec 2026, Wiser, Matter and new possibilities with P44
From Digital Strom and Wiser-by-Feller to Matter and Thread: P44 devices have long since become much more than Digital Strom Bridges. With Ineltec approaching, here’s a look at current integrations, new hardware and the possibilities of the P44 platform.

Ineltec 2026 (September 9 and 10, Messe Zürich)
At the Feller AG booth (4/D25 and E/Y01), the Wiser-by-Feller system will be on display, including information about the P44-GW-MW for easy integration into Matter systems.
The P44-GW-MW is available from stock at Otto Fischer, also exhibiting at ineltec (6/E37).
Wiser-by-Feller is a well-designed, durable system that can be installed in no time by any electrician, making it cost-effective. With a P44-GW-MW, the system can be connected to one or more Matter systems with just a few button presses, enabling voice control, remote control, etc.
Thanks to P44, Wiser-by-Feller also complements Digital Strom
For Digital Strom users, Wiser-by-Feller is also an interesting extension option thanks to its integration in all existing P44 products.
Both systems are suitable for durable, permanently installed solutions, with different strengths: Digital Strom requires no additional wiring and is also suitable for mobile loads such as floor lamps, but can be problematic on circuits with strongly interfering loads. Wiser-by-Feller is always permanently installed and requires the additional K wire, but is therefore immune to such interference.
Anyone with a P44-DSB device can integrate Wiser-by-Feller components as parts of the Digital Strom system with just a few clicks. Just like DALI, EnOcean, hue, etc., Wiser-by-Feller devices appear like DS terminals and can be freely combined with them.
Long since more than just a gateway
What started more than 12 years ago as the Digital Strom Bridge (DSB) has steadily evolved into a versatile smart home and automation platform. It works with integration into Digital Strom, or independently without, and forms the common foundation for all P44 products.
Digital Strom is therefore now one of several worlds that can be connected and combined using P44 devices.
For example, the P44-LC-DE can provide a completely standalone lighting solution for an apartment or office: DALI luminaires, freely positioned EnOcean switches and, if required, control via Matter.
Devices in the P44-AC range also make sophisticated LED effect installations possible.
Thanks to a solid software foundation, even devices approaching 10 years of age have gained the platform's new capabilities – for example, the certified Matter 1.4 Bridge, or the ability to make entire DS installations Matter-capable via dS485.
New generation of devices – new possibilities
This summer, P44 devices received a new hardware platform. It has many times more memory and is significantly faster. This enables new applications that go beyond the capabilities of the older devices:
Matter Controller: Use Matter accessories ranging from Wago terminals to IKEA smart plugs, lights and sensors – available as a beta in P44-GW-MW, P44-DSB-D(v2), P44-DSB-DEH(v3), P44-LC-DE(v2), and the RPi-based P44-DSB-E and -X.
Thread Border Router: A P44 plus a Nabu Casa ZBT-2 Thread adapter enables Matter accessories to operate on their own Thread network, without requiring Apple, Google or Amazon. Available as an experimental beta feature from 2.8.4.5 in P44-GW-MW, P44-DSB-D(v2), P44-DSB-DEH(v3), and P44-LC-DE(v2).
Large installations: The new platform has enough memory headroom for setups with several hundred devices – for example, DS terminals imported via dS485, including Matter bridging.
The P44 therefore remains what started it all: a highly flexible bridge for Digital Strom. But it has long since become much more than that.
